moments you LIVE for...

There are moments as a mom that you just seem to live for and hang on to until the next one comes... Its those moments that help you feel like you may be teaching your children something right. Yesterday when Mason got home from school he went in Claire's room and got her to play with for a minute... her faced lit up as he started to play with her! He then set her down to go do something else and then returned quickly when he heard her sad and crying. So he got her blanket and gave it to her and then picked her up again. He started walking down the hall with her and didn't see the dog laying in the middle of the hall and tripped over him dropping Claire. Of course both are in tears so I quickly grab Claire and calm her down first and then we go over to check on Mas, the poor boy felt so sad and sorry for dropping her, he was just sobbing and telling her he was sorry. Claire then put her head on his shoulder and gave him her blanket!!! It was the sweetest thing ever to see her do for him what he had just done for her. It completely melted my heart! All you want as a mom is for your kids to be friends and love eachother! I am so grateful to have witnessed these acts of love between them!
