We had a day full of dancing... Mason had his end of year Music Festival, in which all the grades each preform a dance together. Mason did really good; he new all the moves and really expressive in his face, really cute. I can't believe the school year is over! He is officially out of the 2nd grade! I am so happy about no morning routine for a while! We are definitely in need of a break from that. 2nd grade was just OK for us. Miss Nuckles was good but not great. I feel bad saying that but I don't think Mason lOvEd going to school like he did the previous year. Nothing too exciting or nothing too terrible. Just OK. But Mason finished great, he continues to love math and science, does alright in reading and needs to do better in his hand writing. All in all it was a good year!
The last part of our dance day was at Ella's spring recital. And of course I get all teary watching her. It really could not have been cuter! She did great! She smiled the entire time and totally hammed it up. The dance was a train dance to a song called Choo Choo Boogie. She really loves dancing from going to dance class with her friends, to being back stage getting all glittered up and even being on that big stage and performing! She was so excited to get her flower from her daddy after. This will be one of my favorite memories of her growing up! Love to watch her dance! I am also go happy she has her friends to do this with; Lucy Johnson, and Grace and Kennedy Brenny! Cutest girls!
